Abdulhakim
Aloraini

I lead products, and build them.

I run delivery end to end and build my own apps and hardware, so I understand the technical detail deeply enough to make the right calls and communicate clearly with both engineers and stakeholders.

Based in Riyadh, finishing a B.Eng. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and targeting technical product management roles across Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, and remote.

Logic Circuits Simulator

Digital logic design for iPhone, iPad & Mac

Focus: product ownership, user research, and engineering

It started as a conversation with my digital-electronics professor about what students should use to practice. The options all fell short: Tinkercad was too steep for juniors, Multisim sat behind a subscription, and the iPad apps most of us carried were outdated, pricey, or ad-filled. So I proposed building the tool we were missing. v1 covered the fundamentals; v2 improved performance and UX and added sharing and truth tables; for v3 I rebuilt the app from scratch to cover the whole curriculum, including clocks, flip-flops, and Karnaugh maps. It is live, used by students, and shaped by an agile loop of direct feedback from users and testers.

Ayatuk: Quran Verse Reminder

A calm daily verse habit

Focus: product, user analytics, and retention

I kept bouncing between Islamic apps that were dated, ad-heavy, and cluttered, so I built the one I actually wanted: something to keep me connected to the Quran on my busiest days, plus an athan reminder and qibla compass. Before writing a line of code, I set up Firebase Analytics so I could learn from real user behaviour. The MVP launched around one core habit, delivering the number of daily verses you choose, and I used the data to smooth onboarding and UX. Then came a Journey of themed daily verses, a streak system and badges for engagement, and a premium tier that funds development without blocking non-paying users, followed by athan and qibla. Watching engagement the whole way, I lifted week-4 retention from 1.3% to over 9%.

Portable Vending Machine

From technical drawings to a working prototype

Focus: team leadership and engineering design

This was my first-year project for the Drawing & Designing class, where I led a team of six. We set out to deliver the strongest design and a working proof of concept with the resources we had. My real aim was to show my teammates how to turn CAD models and paper sketches into a fully functional prototype, and how genuinely fun engineering is in real life. We had a great time building it and the result stood out: we won the class demo competition, every member earned an A+, and the prototype is still on display in the university's robotics and mechatronics lab.

Experience

  1. Dec 2024 to Feb 2025

    Four Hundred Entertainment

    Riyadh, KSA · Consulting

    Product Owner & IT Lead

Two-month consulting engagement on صن وحكم (Sunhakam), a platform for Baloot card-game cafes: player apps, a cafe portal, and a company admin portal.

    • Joined as Product Owner and IT Lead with the product stalled short of its first milestone.
    • Translated business requirements into clear specs for the technical team and re-prioritised the build, driving it to deliver the second milestone.
    • Owned a full system spanning the player apps, the cafe-facing admin portal, and the company admin portal.
    • Set up workflows for ongoing support, operational efficiency, and scalable growth.
  2. 2023 to 2025

    Sahab

    Riyadh, KSA

    Project Operations Manager

Owned three national emergency-fleet deployments end to end.

    • MOH-Hajj 1445: equipped 300+ ambulances, trained 150+ medical crew, and ran 5+ operations and monitoring rooms across 2 Hajj regions, with 100% uptime and zero shutdowns through the season.
    • SRCA AVL and MC AVL: rolled out vehicle tracking to 3,000+ emergency vehicles (1,800+ and 1,200+) across all 13 regions of the country, with urgent incidents resolved inside the ~2-hour SLA.
    • Coordinated cross-functional teams of 8 to 15 (field, back-office, and vendors) and aligned KPIs daily with MOH and SRCA counterparts to keep phased rollouts on track.
    • Supported a Hajj season serving 1.8M+ people with no major incidents, backed by daily and weekly dashboards on performance and SLAs.
  3. 2023

    Sahab

    Riyadh, KSA

    Hardware Technician, MOH-Hajj 1444

On-the-ground deployment for the Hajj ambulance fleet; grew from team member to owning the wrap-up.

    • Configured devices and installed AVL units on ambulances, onboarded vehicles to the portal, and verified live data flow.
    • Supported CAD dispatch and ePCR setup and trained dispatchers and medical staff on site.
    • When a misconfiguration stopped operations mid-season, I asked to take it on and cleared the blocker within an hour.
    • Closed the season owning the lessons-learned and the short recommendations to improve future operations.
  4. 2021 to 2023

    Palmlab

    Riyadh, KSA

Electronics Lab Supervisor & Scrum Master

Ran the PCB manufacturing team and its delivery cadence.

    • Led the PCB team across 12+ projects: set priorities, removed blockers, and kept throughput and quality in view.
    • Delivered 300+ PCBs and ran sprint planning and stand-ups as Scrum Master.
    • Owned lab inventory and equipment; sourced components and instruments.
